“I am Cassidy McDevitt, and I have been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2017. I started training BJJ when my older brother was having issues with bullies at school.  My first week of training I loved it, but broke my collar bone. Although the pain was bad I did not let that stop me. Once it healed I was right back on the mat trying to be the best I can be. Coming from a highly competitive family with 3 older siblings and 2 younger siblings, we are always striving to get better and be the best.I love to compete and always give it 100% win or lose, because it’s not all about winning, it’s about learning. Having older siblings in the sport is always the best because if I need help, they are right there to teach me and push me to get better. One day you will see me on the big stage and everyone will be screaming my name!Along with BJJ I have also trained in Wrestling, and Boxing.”
